slope stabilization and enhance safe passage for wildlife <br />traveling through the reclaimed quarry area in the future. <br />(1) [c] {I} {II} The first 12 inches of soil consists of very stony loamy fine <br />sand~the amount of "topsoil" is neglgble (4 inches on <br />average aer acre = 538c.y./acrel. (see Exhibit B). Because <br />this material is primarily rock and sand, it does not support <br />significant vegetation. The intended future use for the azea <br />is rangeland, which will be reestablished by revegetating <br />with a mix of native grasses in a manner and amount <br />specified by Boulder County in its Limited Impact Special <br />Review process, and by reestablishing native Ponderosa <br />Pine @ ten trees per acre and Rocky Mountain Juniper <br />shrubs @ five per acre. <br />(1) [c] {iii} Ponderosa pines @ 10/acre and Rocky Mountain Juniper @ <br />5/acre. <br /> <br /> <br />(I) [c] {vi} Manual planting of trees/shrubs (as detailed above) @ <br />10//5 acre. <br />(1) [d] Roads will remain after reclamation.
