<br />.. <br /> <br />Lessee shall indemni.f.y and hold the Lessor harmless of and <br />from an•y and all claims, demands or liabilities arising out <br />of or in connection with the operations or activities of the <br />Lessee hereunder. Lessee assunes full and sale responsi- <br />bility for the operation and direction of .the work done <br />under this agreement on leased premises, and no employee or <br />agent furnished by the Lessee shall, under any circumstances, <br />be deemed an employee of the Lessor. <br />9. Lessee shall pay all personal property to:;es <br />levied or assessed against its operation or improvements, <br />and Lessor shall pay any and a:Ll real property taxes levied <br />upon the premises. Should Lessor, for any reason, fail or <br />refuse to pay such property taxes, Lessee may, in that <br />event, pay such taxes assessed upon the demised premises and <br />apply such sums against future royalties earned. <br />10. In the event of termination of this Lease by <br />expiration of the term hereof, or for any reason whatsoever, <br />the Lessee agrees to surrender the leased premises to the <br />Lessor in good condition and in full complia~zce with the <br />above mentioned Special Use Permit and Idined Land Reclama- <br />tion Permit. The Lessee, however, shall have the right. to <br />remove machinery and improvements placed by i.t on the leased <br />premises. The Lessee shall have the right and obligation <br />to effect the removal of such machinery, equipment and <br />-5- <br />
