DRMS' approval for drilling the twenty two (22) holes for which we have
received rights to enter. These holes are identified as follows:
SP07-1 to SP07-2
SP07-OS to SP07-09
CB07-Band CB07-17
CB07-20 to CB07-22
CB07-24 to CB07-33
However, we intend to submit a reclamation bond for all proposed twenty seven
(27) holes. In addition to the holes listed above, the additional five drill holes are
SP07-3, SP07-4, SP07-10, SP07-I1 and CB07-23. We request that DRMS
compute reclamation bond for all twenty seven (27) holes. In this manner, we
hope to save time for procuring bond for the remaining holes once we receive
rights to enter these holes and request DRMS to include them in the approved
NOI.
3. Regulation 2.02.2(2)(e). Description of the basis upon which Western Fuels-
Colorado LLC claims the right to enter such area for the purpose of conducting
exploration and reclamation.
As stated above, Western Fuels has procured the attached permissions to drill
from the land and mineral owners for the twenty two (22) drill holes shown in the
attached map. We are waiting to receive such permissions for fave more drill
holes. We plan to submit this information to DRMS once we receive the required
land owner permissions to enter and drill. We request that DBMS estimate the
reclamation cost for all twenty seven (27) proposed holes in order to expedite the
approval of the remaining five drill holes once we receive the rights to enter to
these drill holes.
4. Regulations 2.02.2(2)(f) and 4.21.4(10). Description of how the proposed
activities will comply with the requirements regarding minimization of
disturbance of the hydrologic balance.
The exploration program is not likely to disturb the hydrologic balance since no
construction activities will take place that will require disturbing the ground or
topsoil removal. Water for drilling (air/mist) will be purchased from the town of
Nucla and no local ponds or streams will be affected.
5. Regulation 2.02.2(g). Narrative description of proposed road or other access route
construction.
Western Fuels does not plan to construct any road or access route. Access to the
drill sites will be by the existing roads, two-track trails and overland travel.
6. Regulations 2.02.2(2)(g) and 4.21.4(3). As requested please note that
2
