A sedimentation pond is planned to control drainage and sediment from
• the surface facilities as shown on the Mine Facilities Map (Map 12).
The details for this sedimentation pond are set forth in Sections 4.05.6
and 2.05.6.
The embankments, impoundments and associated structures will be
revegetated. Routine inspections of these structures will be conducted
periodically as required by Section 4.05.9.
The sedimentation pond impoundment will be maintained according to the
specifications set forth in this part. Maintenance procedures fnr the
sedimentation pond may include mowing and cutting of excess vegetation
growth for the purpose of facilitating inspections and repairs and will
include keeping ditches, culverts, spillways, and other outflow
structures free of debris.
