These could be
addressed by a number of Best Management Practices improvement options.
Ultimately, the value of having site-specific history on this site should be weighed against
the need for significant analysis and modeling. Our practice is typically to develop a
storm water management plan but make a cleaz case for site-specific adjustments as
actual field sediment and erosion activities become apparent. In this case, that
information is already present on site.
We are proposing that several erosion and sediment management improvements be
provided per the attached plans, including:
• sediment/stormwater quality ponds with rock armored overflow spillways;
• fines gully erosion azea regrading, reseeding and rock armoring;
• straw bale barriers; and
• rock dam check structures.
In addition, at the time this work is performed, as you requested field reviews will be
conducted by Tuttle Applegate and DMG staff. If field conditions warrant, additional
erosion and sediment control measures would be added.
John, hopefully these comments help clarify information or approach for Division staff. If you
require any additional information please let me know. Thank you.
DMGCOMNTME,l1
