Mr. Greg Squire
Stipulation No. 1, Technical Revision No. 4
"E" Seam - Development Work, Permit C-81-044
July 28, 1986
Page 2
2. The expected total inflow to the "E" coal seam access and development
area is 7.0 gpm. This volume amount is too small to try and detect
by measuring changes in the total inflow to the No. 5 Mine, which
produces 600 to 700 gpm.
3. Since the "E" coal seam access and development area is in the
vicinity of the subcrop of the "E" coal seam, as well as the subcrop
of the "F" coal seam, it is expected that both seams are unsaturated
in most of the area approved for the "E" coal seam access and
development. Zero dewatering will occur in areas where the No. 5
Mine is unsaturated.
If you have any questions concerning this response and request, please
contact me.
Sincerely,
• D. Larry Da(>~au
DLD/js
