<br />D. Sideslope Seep Wetlands <br />Sideslope seep wetlands are located along the slope that separates the primary and <br />secondary terraces. Seeps along the slope are dominated by sedgelnrsh wetland <br />vegetation communities. <br />E. Toeslope Wetlands <br />Toeslope wetlands are located along the bottom of the slope that separates the prnnaty <br />and secondary terraces. Wet meadow vegetation domurates these toeslope wetlands. <br />Acreage of the above features is specified in the following table. <br />waters ojthe United Stares <br />Waters of the United States (WOTUS) were also identified within the area of interest. <br />Waters of the United States are found within the riverbed of the Big Thompson River and <br />SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS <br />A survey for jurisdictional wetlands and waters of the United States was conducted within <br />the Croissant and Green properties west of Greeley, Colorado on July 21 and 24; 2000. <br />Areas that met the 1987 USACE Wetland Delineation Manual criteria for jurisdictional <br />wetlands were identified, sampled as necessary, and mapped. Jurisdictional wetlands were <br />found within the Big Thompson River, tailwater drainages, relict oxbows, sideslope seeps, <br />and toeslope seeps. Waters of the United States were identified within the Big Thompson <br />River and farm ponds located on the Green property. <br />-6- <br />within four firm ponds located on the Green property. <br />
