Rule 6.4.7 Exhibit G -Water Information <br />6. The Mining Plan states that an isolation ditch will be placed along the up gradient sides of the mine to route any offsite <br />surface flows around the disturbed azea. Please supply the Division with the dimensions of the proposed isolation ditch; <br />the expected flows through the ditch during a 100-yeaz storm event; and depict the ditch on the Mining Plan Map. <br />7. The Mining Plan states that drainage will be maintained to the southeast, where runoff form precipitation will be <br />captured in a holding pond and released once sediment has been removed. Please depict the holding pond on [he Mining <br />Plan Map. <br />Rule 6.5 Geotechnical Stability Exhibit <br />8. Please be awaze that Division staff is reviewing the Geotechnical Stability Exhibit separately, and adequacy questions <br />regazding this exhibit maybe addressed at a later time. <br />Please be advised that the Linke Construction, Inc., Cottonwood Quarry, 112(c) Permit Application may be deemed <br />inadequate, and the application may be denied on December 16, 2004 unless fire above mentioned adequacy review items aze <br />addressed to the satisfaction of the Division in a timely manner allowing for adequate time to review the responses. If you <br />feel more time is needed to complete your reply, the Division can grant an extension to the recommendation date. Phis will <br />be done upon receipt of a written waiver of your right to a recommendation by December 16, 2004 and request for additional <br />time.
