Section 816.72 (continued) Revised 1/24/80
previously stated, safety reasons forced the initial
boxcut in C-16284 to be located further uphill than had
been originally planned. This has naturally caused the
boxcut spoil to lay uphill from the drainage and as a
consequence, reclamation can be accomplished without
infringing on the drainage thereby obviating the need
for rock drains.
The spoil grading and final cut backfilling will
be accomplished with dozers. By starting at the north
end of C-16289, then moving the south end and working
to the north, and then pushing material from the west
edge to the east, and lastly from the east edge to the
• west and northwest, C-16264 can be reclaimed to the
approximate original contour. These contours are shown
on Energy Mines No. 1 and 2 Post-Mining Topography
(Map 48--revised 1/22/80).
•
616-99(c)(2)
