The extension, though no specific date
was stated, is hereby granted. I feel that this extension will not
need to be very long, since we are close to getting all the
application's adequacy issues addressed.
I have reviewed the materials you sent in response to my adequacy
letter. I have the following comments about those materials and
other items still needing to be addressed:
EXHIBIT A
The legal description included appears to contain a typographical
error which is repetitious for a certain piece of land in Section
32, ie.: S1/2 SE1/4 SW1/4 SE1/4 is in SW1/4 SE1/4, and need not be
repeated. Please clarify how this should be written.
EXHIBIT C
The list of adjacent landowners does not include Mesa County as
owner on the west side, though the new map shows it. If the map is
correct and the county is the owner on the west, no reply to this
is needed. If.i¢esa County is not the landowner to the west, within
200 feet of the permit boundary, please provide me with the name of
that entity.
The buffer zone is depicted as a strip of land within the permit
boundary. It does not appear that it will be used for stockpiling
or excavation. Will there be any other activities occurring there?
Please be reminded that all activities must be inside the permit
boundary.
