The individ- <br />ual benches will be 50 to 75 feet high as dictated by <br />mining requirements, and will be constantly changing. <br />Generally, overburden from near the pit bottom will be <br />backfilled in the lower lifts end overburden from upper <br />pit levels will be backfilled in the higher lifts. This <br />will be both cost-effective and helpful in reestablishing <br />relative premining strata placement. <br />2.05.2(2)(e)(vii) Attachment No. 3 of this Addendum is an <br />example of Wyoming Fuel Company's soil <br />testing program. <br />2.05.4(2)(d) A series of backhoe pits will be dug in the area <br />of proposed topsoil removal. Operators will be <br />instructed as to color changes and depths in the <br />soil profiles to be removed. Vegetation will <br />also be used as an indicator for topsoil removal. <br />Proposed topsoil stockpiles are shown on Figure 2 <br />of the April 14, 1981 application. All topsoil <br />piles will be seeded with a mix presented in Table <br />VI o~ that application. <br />-s- <br />
