. (7) As shown on Exhibit 10, the coal handling structures in the
permit area consist of a crusher and tipple. These are contained
in a metal shed with a tin roof. These structures will be removed
as part of the reclamation process when the mining ceases.
(8) Non-coal waste from the underground mine may be brought to
the surface and placed in the refuse pile as shown in Exhibit 9.
This refuse pile is to be a permanent structure and would
consist of roof fall material. At the present time most material is
being stored underground. We see no change in this policy, but
need this refuse pile included in the permit in case the need
arises. This azea lies within the 3.22 acre disturbed area,
therefore the runoff from this area will be collected in the
sediment pond. This area is not located above any underground
mining areas, and will not be affected by such.
(9) No surface is anticipated at this time.
(10) No coal processing waste is being returned to the underground
workings.
• 2.05.4 Reclamation Plan
(1) Does not apply
(2) (A) Time Table for Reclamation
(a) Portal and Air Courses;
Remove the ventilation fan and all concrete from around the
openings, and seal the openings by creating a cave in the
openings.
(b) Remove all other structures, other than the sediment pond. All
buildings would be salvaged or demolished with all broken
concrete used as fill.
(c) BackfilGng:
Filling portal and yard area with material from the bench areas.
(d) Grading and leveling:
Shaping of backfill.
• 13.
fi~~y
Ic~„0 ~S
