Therefore sealing requirements at the time of mine closure will almost certainly be <br />different than those currently in effect. Material and labor cost for a single solid-block seal <br />constructed in accordance with current sealing practices for non-coal mines and back6lling were <br />included in the cost estimate, however. ACMA does not anticipate groundwater flow to the portal <br />or flooding of abandoned workings to the portal level and therefore does not propose the erection <br />ofa hydraulic seal.
