All surgery will be done by a veterinarian experienced with -,, j.s.rl' , <br />handling ruminants under the stressful conditions presented by ''.~' <br />the terms of this study, i.e., handling immobilized wild animals ~~` <br />in winter weather. <br />4. P. D. Olson be notified prior to each surgical implant effort <br />with sufficient time to assign CDOW personnel to observe implanta- <br />tion. If for some reason CDOW is unable to attend, any mortality <br />will be reported to P. D. Olson within 24 hours. <br />5. This approval is subject to immediate suspension by P. D. Olson if <br />mortality ,is excessive or for any other reason. <br />Colorado Division of Wildlife review of your first annual progress report <br />has not been completed. In the very near future, you will receive a <br />critique of the study to date as well as a restatement of objectives <br />and recommendations to improve the scope or reliability of the study. <br />I want you both to know that I appreciate the sincere and professional <br />manner with which you both have approached this study.
