accessories, labor, maintenance, operating supplies, salaries of <br />operators, and any other expenses incidental to the operation of the <br />equipment in the performance of work in accordance with this <br />specification and bid item(s). No extra payment will be made for the use <br />of the same equipment while performing work on other bid items on the <br />Invitation and Bid Sheet, Bid Schedules or Purchase Order Contract. No <br />additional payment will be made for hauling equipment to or away from the <br />work site except as may be proper under Mobilization/Demobilization. <br />IV. INSPECTION AND APPROVAL OF THE WORK <br />The PROJECT MANAGER will be at the project site periodically to monitor <br />construction activities and ensure that each work item is completed and <br />constructed to design specifications. The CONTRACTOR shall give the <br />PROJECT MANAGER at least seven (7) days notice of the time and place of <br />starting his operations and shall continue to advise the PROJECT MANAGER <br />of the proposed operations. The following items must be observed and <br />approved by the PROJECT MANAGER before proceeding with additional work: <br />Fertilization; <br />Seedbed Preparation; <br />Seeding; and, <br />Initial placement of mulch. <br />TDG/yjb <br />6577E <br />-14- <br />
