<br />Introduction <br />This document is the approval package proposed by the Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />Geology (the Division) for Phase II bond release for the Meeker Area Mines, Division file <br />number C-81-Q32. The package contains three parts. These include: 1) a summary of the review <br />process history; 2) written findings of the Division regarding compliance with the bond release <br />requirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining and Reclamation Act and regulations <br />promulgated thereunder; and 3) the £mal decision to approve the request for partial bond <br />release. <br />Detailed information about the review process can be found in the Act and the Regulations of <br />the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. All Rules referenced within this <br />document are contained within the Regulations. Detailed information about the mining and <br />reclamation operations can be found in the permit application on file at the Division, located <br />at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, in Denver, Colorado, and at the Rio Blanco County <br />Courthouse in Meeker, Colorado. <br />Meeker Area Mines 2 Phase II Bond Release <br />
