-3- <br />SECTION III - STATUS OF STIPULATIONS <br />Two stipulations are currently in effect as of the last permit renewal <br />term. These are listed below. <br />Stipulation No. 1: <br />THE PERMITTEE WILL PERFORM THE MONITORING OUTLINED BELOW AND <br />SUBMIT A HYDROLOGIC MONITORING REPORT ANNUALLY IN JANUARY TO THE <br />DIVISION INCORPORATING THE FOLLOWING MONITORING DATA. <br />SURFACE WATER <br />1. MONTHLY MONITORING OF THE HARVEY GAP RESERVOIR OUTLET AND THE <br />SAMPLE SITE DESIGNATED AS HARVEY GAP BELOW THE MINE <br />(ON MAP HGP-18). THIS MONTHLY MONITORING MUST INCLUDE FLOW <br />AND FIELD PARAMETERS. SEMI-ANNUAL SAMPLES ARE TO BE TAKEN <br />FOR THE FULL SUITE CHEMICAL PARAMETERS AS DESIGNATED LATER IN <br />THIS SECTION. <br />2. SEMI-ANNUAL MONITORING OF THE HARVEY GAP RESERVOIR SEEP <br />INCLUDING FLOW AND FIELD PARAMETERS. <br />3. COMPILATION OF ALL DATA SUBMITTED TO THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT <br />OF HEALTH FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE NPDES PERMIT SAMPLING <br />REQUIREMENTS, INCLUDING SALINITY. <br />GROUND WATER <br />1. CONTINUATION OF AN INFLOW STUDY AT THE MINE WITH THE SOURCES <br />OF SEEPS MAPPED ONCE YEARLY. FLOWS AND FIELD PARAMETERS <br />SHALL BE SAMPLED AS PRACTICABLE. A HEAVY INFLOW MONTH SUCH <br />AS JULY WILL BE CHOSEN FOR INFLOW MAPPING. ANY NEWLY <br />DEVELOPED SOURCES OF INFLOW THAT HAVE FLOW OF 0.5 GPM OR <br />GREATER WILL BE TESTED ONE-TIME FOR THE FULL SUITE OF <br />CHEMICAL PARAMETERS. <br />2. PUMPAGE RATES FROM THE MINE TO THE SEDIMENT PONDS WILL BE <br />RECORDED WITH THE MINE WATER TESTED QUARTERLY FOR FIELD <br />PARAMETERS AND ONCE YEARLY FOR THE CHEMICAL PARAMETERS. <br />3.
