To update the status of the Stipulations,
please consider the following:
STIPULATION NO 1 and 2 - Twin Pines is proceeding
in accordance with the monitoring program outlined
in Stipulation No. 1 and 2, to obtain background
information for probable hydrological consequences
from the Mine. Due to the geological relationship
of the Mine with the monitoring wells and consid-
eration of the surrounding mined areas, testing the
water quality of the wells seems to be an unnecessary
expense for the Mine. It is requested that the
Division review the Water Quality Requirements or
_.~Stipulations as to frequency of testing and time
necessary to develop background information.
STIPULATION NO 3 - Twin Pines has obtained a Mine
Water Discharge Permit from the State Engineers
Office. The NPEDS Permit was applied for November
23, 1984, and is in the final stage of approval.
Water for beneficial use is being hauled to the site.
A minor change is therefore requested to reflect
these differences.
STIPULATION NO 4 - No Response Required.
r
