<br />3.1.3 Application Reviews and Responses
<br />Comments on the Application were received by letter of June 18, 1996, from Kari Doerr,
<br />Acting Environmental Biologist, Colorado Department of Natural Resources, Division of
<br />Wildlife, Northeast Regional Office, 317 West Prospect, Fort Collins, Colorado 80506; and
<br />were transmitted to CEC by the Division under letter of June 27, 1996.
<br />The Application was reviewed for adequacy by selected staff of the Division. The Division,
<br />by letter of September b, 1996, provided staff comments on the Application to Coors Energy
<br />Company (CEC). By letter of October 22, 1996, CEC requested an extension of the
<br />Application decision date. By letter of March 14, 1997, concerns were addressed and revised
<br />pages to the Application were submitted by CEC. By letters of April 1, 1997 and May 6,
<br />1997, clarification or information regarding remaining adequacy items were requested by the
<br />Division of CEC. By CEC letter of April 10, 1997 and Division letter of April 21, 1997, the
<br />date of renewal application decision was extended to June 1, 1997. By CEC letter of May 29,
<br />1997 and Division letter of May 30, 1997, the date of renewal application decision was
<br />extended to June 16, 1997. By facsimile of June 6, 1997, the Division recapitulated the
<br />Application. By CEC letter of June 13, 1997, and Division letter of June 16, 1997, the date of
<br />renewal application decision was extended to June 27, 1997. By letter of June 19, 1997, CEC
<br />submitted changes to the Application.
<br />3.1.4 Status of Permit Stipulations
<br />Stipulations 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16 and 18 of the original permit were resolved
<br />during the first five-year permit term. Stipulations 19, 22 and 27 were resolved during the
<br />second five-year permit term. (Findings, 1992)
