~. ...~ ~ r
2
(according to Erica Crosby's inventory of straw bales). He said he
disagreed with my logic because the agreement does not say the
drainage work will be paid for with GEC funds. He also said he did
not believe Erica's survey of the erosion repair work was accurate.
Corley also asked if I thought the Section 24 work was complete.
I said Kessler had been paid in January and the work was complete.
He said he thinks there are several piles of trash left around by
GEC which should have been removed.
I told Corley I would try to determine the current status of GEC
bond funds, and asked how the fact that funds may or may not remain
would affect his willingness to agree to proceed with the West Pit
work. He said that would depend on whether funds were still
available.
In addition to the specific concerns discussed above, Corley also
expressed his displeasure with the fact that,
1. his concerns had been "passed over" and ignored by the
Division,
2. I was trying to "jam this thing down his throat",and
3. he received "calls like this on Monday morning".
Please review my draft letter to Dr. Corley for your signature and
let me know what you think.
c:\wp51\8194b
