The
concentrated flow feature will be kept on the monitoring list for
next years inventory.
West Ridge
Five West Ridge areas were evaluated using the method outlined in
BLM Technical Note No. 346. The areas evaluated are shown on
Exhibit 1, Sheet 2 of 2. As mentioned previously, these areas are
not required to be surveyed until after completion of the West
Ridge Hydrologic Reconstruction Plan, but are being monitored for
background information for use at a later date. The construction
of the terraces is scheduled for this summer. During the
construction of the terraces major gullies in the area will be
repaired. The survey results for the five areas are as follows:
West Ridcte Subarea SSF Score Erosion Condition Classification
Area 1-TS 10.6 Stable
Area 2-NTS 34 Slight
Area 3-TS 14 Stable
Area 4-NTS 21 Slight
Area 5-NTS 26 Slight
Goat Trail Concentrated Flow Features
Transects were measured at the three constructed down drain areas
along the Goat Trail Access Road. The location of these transects
in plan view are shown on Exhibit 1, Sheet 2 of 2. The channels
were measured across monuments placed during the last survey and
compared to evaluate erosion activity. These surveys are shown
6/22/95 DLB
