Based on our investigation we find that your
residence is not within an area where mine subsidence related to
the Golden Eagle underground mining operations is occuring or has
occurred. Therefore, your residence is not subject to mine
subsidence impacts.
Attached is a memorandum prepared by Jim Pendleton, Technical and
Scientific Coordinator for the Division of Minerals and Geology,
detailing his observations and investigation of this matter, as
well as his conclusions based on those observations and
investigations. Also attached is a Trip Report prepared by Michael
Rosenthal, Chief - Physical Sciences Branch for the Office of
Surface Mining, Western Support Center, and a memorandum indicating
his concurrence with the Division's conclusions and findings.
Thank you for cooperating with us during this investigation. If
you have questions please feel free to call. _
Sincerely,
o,'~c~~,
Susan McCannon
Coal Program Supervisor
attachments (3)
cc: Mike Long w/attachments
Dan Hernandez w/ attachments
Randy Price w/attachments
Jim Pendleton w/attachments
