1) Before commencement of injection, the operator shall run a baseline temperature <br />survey from the base of the surface casing to TD to establish baseline temperature <br />conditions for comparison v.ith subsequent mechanical integrity testing to detect <br />fluid flow adjacent to the casing; and <br />2) Before commencement of injection, the operator shall run a radioactive tracer <br />survey (RATS) to verify that fluids are confined to the injection zone and to <br />establish the injection profile associated with the perforations. <br />The final portion of the temperature survey shall be run afrer injection has <br />commenced (Part II, Section A. 5(d) of the Permit). The permittee shall notify the <br />EPA at least two (2) weeks prior to conducting these tests so that an authorized <br />representative maybe present to witness the test. <br />The permittee is required to submit the results of these tests along with a Completion <br />Report (EPA Forth 7520-12) and the daily drilling, casing, and completion record(narrative, <br />along with copies of all well logs and the procedures and results for all additional tests. <br />Please be aware that American Soda LLP. does not have authorization to begin injection <br />into the Getty # J-7LR' until the items listed above have been approved by the EPA and the <br />company, has received ~~ritten authorization to begin injection from the EPA. <br />]t is American Soda's responsibility to be familiar with, and to comph~ ~~ ith, all <br />conditions contained in this Permit. <br />If you have any questions on this action please contact Paul S.
