Long <br /> DrvisiOn Director <br />1) All public review of Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) hard copy files must take place in the <br />Public Review area. Review of microfilm may take place at readers in'tlte~r~eption azea. <br />2) The public is welcome to review files and microfilm between 9:00 a.m.-and 4:30 p:m., daily. <br />3) The reviewer must complete a Public Review Infornmrion sheet prior to reviewing any files. <br />4) After receiving a completed Public Review Infornlntion sheet, the DMG receptionist will ask the reviewer <br />to be seated in the Public Review azea. <br />5) Files and microfilm may be reviewed one at a time. <br />6) The redtewer will be allowed to bring only a pen/pencil and a tablet of paper into the Public Review azea. <br />All coats, brief cases and other personal belongings may be stored in the coat rack. Computers may be <br />allowed into the Public Review Area, but must be first removed from cases. <br />'T) The Permit files constitute legal records. The Division of Minerals and Geology requests all reviewers <br />refrain from removing, mixing or otherwise disturbing the contents of the fi]es. <br />8) When the reviewer is finished, Ute file or microfilm must be brought to the receptionist who will make a <br />visual check to see that the file is complete and in order and sign the Public Review Information sheet, <br />indicating that the file was returned. <br />COPIES <br />Hand Copy Files <br />Please mark the outside edge of documents with paper clips. DMG staff will make up to 25 copies for 25C pec page. <br />Requests of 26 pages or more and maps will be sent to a reproduction company for copies. The Receptionist will <br />make arrangements for pick-up and delivery of documents, but you must pay the reproduction company for copies. <br />Microfilm <br />You can make paper copies of microfiche/film on DMG's microfilm reader/printer for 25C each. Please pay the <br />receptionist for copies. <br />Paper copies of complete microfiches can be made at an outside copy center for a minimum charge of S10 per <br />request, plus 15C per image. Maps may cost more depending on the number of pages needed to copy aad piece the <br />enure map. The Receptionist will make arrangements for pick-up and delivery of documenzs, and for payment to <br />DMG for copies. Rush orders orlazge orders may cost more. <br />Microfilm copies of fiche can be made at the State Microfilm Services for a minimum chazge of 510, plus 25C per <br />fiche.
