I have reviewed the Inspection Reports and have some <br />questions I would like to clarify. <br />Bu[ first, I would like to let you know that International Uranium (USA) Corporation ("IUSA") <br />is engaged in negotiations with another firm for the possible sale and transfer of all our mines <br />and properties in the Colorado Plateau region. While I cannot state with certainty that this <br />transaction will be completed, I wanted to advise you of this possibility as this could again <br />change the permittee. In the event that this transaction is completed, we will coordinate with the <br />new owners/permitees regazding the items in your latest Inspection Report. <br />As elaborated in your Inspection Reports, there are several action items you identified during the <br />inspections. These items are as follows: <br />1. Update permit ID sign at the Van 4 Mine. (08/31/01 deadline) <br />2. Provide updated permit area map for the properties under the Monogram Mines <br />Permit. (9/30/01 deadline) <br />3. Provide updated reporting on the condition at each separate part of the permit area. <br />under the Monogram Mines Permit. (9/30/01 deadline) <br />4. Provide permit ID signs and mark the boundaries of the affected areas under the <br />Monogram Mines Permit. (9/30/01 deadline) <br />To aid me in determining how to address the action items, there are a number of questions I <br />would appreciate getting your help answering. <br />1. As I noted when we met on the Inspection, the records IUSA received from Energy <br />Fuels, which in tarn obtained the records from UMETCO, are apparently not <br />complete. 1 have not been able to locate maps which clearly show the bounds of the <br />permitted areas, for example. So that we are all working with the same set of <br />
