Mr. David Stout - 2 - August 15, 1985
with the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board,
and result in enforcement action by the Division. Again, the Division urges
WFC to acquire approval for the non-coal waste disposal area immediately.
The third revision involves relocation of alight use road at the Golden Eagle
mine. The original submittal is dated February 21, 1985. Our last
correspondence on this matter was a letter written by the Division on April
15, 1985 which addressed adequacy issues. In light of the amount of time
elapsed without response from WFC, the Division will formally deny this
revision unless a response is immediately forthcoming. If the revision is
denied, WFC may resubmit the request and additional information pursuant to
the adequacy comments at any time.
The forth revision involves the proposed Ciruela Canyon refuse disposal area.
The original submittal was dated February 28, 1985. Adequacy comments were
addressed in a letter dated March 8, 1985. As above, the Division is prepared
to deny this revision due to the lack of informations received and expiration
of the regulatory time frame. Your immediate response is required.
If you have any questions, please contact me at the Division.
Sincerely,
'~ ~~-
Jeffrey Deckler
Reclamation Specialist
JD/ddt
2701E
