I recommend that the review of this outstanding material be <br />prioritized in light of the pending administrative appeal and ARCO's desire <br />to have a majority of the hydrology and RVF stipulations satisfied as soon <br />as possible. Some of the groundwater responses have been under review since <br />September, 1981. <br />Roy Cox: <br />August 31, 1981 response to stipulation number I6(number 17 in cross-reference) <br />regarding designs and locations of all monitoring wells within the 5-year permit <br />area. (Supplemental data submitted February 8, 1982). <br />September 15, 1981 response to stipulation number 19 (number 23 in cross- <br />reference) concerning the inclusion of ARSENIC in the analysis. <br />September 15, 1981 response to stipulation number 2I (number 29 in cross- <br />reference) requiring the installation and monitoring of two wells below the <br />initial waste rock pile. <br />September 29, 1981 response to stipulation numbers 40 and 38 (numbers 8 and 9 <br />in cross-reference) requiring a description of borehole capping methods and <br />plans for capping wells. <br />September 29, 1981 response to stipulation number 1 (number 30 in cross- <br />reference) requiring the chemical analysis of roof and floor rock material <br />to be re-run. <br />October 27, 1981 response to stipulation number 14 (number IS in cross-reference) <br />concerning the completion of two monitoring wells up dip of the 5-year permit <br />area and within the F-seam. (Supplemental data submitted on February 8, 1982). <br />February 18, 1982 response to stipulation number 5 (number 33 in cross-reference) <br />requiring new pumping tests on wells completed in the Barren Member and F-seam. <br />Jerry Zimpfer: <br />December I5, 1981 response to stipulation number 7 (number 34 in cross-reference) <br />requiring that "within six months of the permit issuing, the applicant shall <br />demonstrate that the mining operations fresh water usage would not materially <br />damage the quantity and quality of those waters supplying alluvial valley floors". <br />423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 60203 Tel.
