l.^.'s <br /> <br />-2- Permit Nd SC-77-48 <br />NOIJ, THEREFORE, pursuant to <br />Land Reclamation Act, Article 32 <br />Laws - H.B. 1065) the Mined Lard <br />hereby issues a life of the mine <br />mining for the purpose of extrac <br />ground, to wit: <br />the authority set forth in the Colorado Alined <br />of Title 34, C.R.S. 1973 as amended (1976 Sess. <br />Reclamation Board of the State of Colorado <br />permit to GEG Minerals, Inc. to engage in open <br />ling open mined coal on the following parcel of <br />Portions of: E1/2 Sec 24 T20S R70W 6tli P.P1. <br />NW 1/4, SW ]./4 NE 1/4, SE 1/4 Sec 19 <br />E 1(2 fec 30, NE 1j4, S 1/2 NW 1J4 Sec 31 <br />T 20S R 60W 6th P.M. Fremont County <br />as indicated in the application for open mining and reclamation permit of the <br />permit file, Exhibit A. The legal description contains the acreage covered by the <br />original permit, as well as tl~e amended acreage. This life of the mine permit <br />is subject to the following special conditions. <br />1. IJuring tl~e course of mining operations, GEC Minerals, Inc. shall now allow <br />the total disturbed acreage to exceed 70 acres nor to allow the total <br />disturbance involved in open pit operations to exceed 8 acres. <br />2. GEC Pinerals, Inc agrees to be bound by all Rules and Regulations of the <br />Plined Land Reclamation Board, and by all provisions of the 1976 Pined Land <br />Reclamation Act, in compliance with each and every provision t{~ereof, as <br />an express condition of this permit. <br />This permit is issued subject to all requirements of the Colorado Plined Land <br />Reclamation Act and all rules, regulations and standards now in force and any <br />which may in the future be promulgaged by the Plined Land Reclamation Board, and <br />this permit may be revoked or suspended for noncompliance with the Act and/or <br />such rules, regulations and standards. <br />Dated at Denver this <br />day of August 26, 1977 <br />MINED LAND RECLAPIATION BOARD <br />y , <br />By <br />
