b) Our copy does not contain Exhibit 11 - Geochemical
Analysis of the Wadge Seam Overburden exists in our copy.
c) Our copy does not contain Exhibit 13 - Ground Water Model
Documentation exists in our copy.
d) Our Exhibit 32 is titled Appendix I, Watbal Program User's
Model Description.
e) Our copy does not contain Exhibit 45 - Coal Sample Results
exists in our copy.
d) Table 6a should probably go in Exhibit 1 and be
specifically titled to identify it as PR-03, Eastern
Mining District Lease information.
7. Review of topsoil pile volumes, locations, and text information
precipitated the following questions.
a) SF-4 stockpile should now be labeled 3, 633 cy on Map 29.
b) Is SF-15 800 or 807 cy?
c) Text page 2 .05-13 (b) (2) identifies two topsoil stockpiles
for the ROM storage area at Tipple #2 . Please clarify
this information.
d) The topsoil stockpile at the SW vent site is not included
in Table 49a, nor is the pile at the North Escape Shaft.
All topsoil stockpiles for all disturbed areas within the
permit area should be identified by name in Table 49a and
spotted on a Map, by the same name.
e) Text page 2 .05-13 (c) (6b) says 8, 700 cy would be stripped
at the EMD vent site yet Table 49a indicates 10,311 cy are
stockpiled. Which is correct and why is this information
different?
8 . Map 32 should be eliminated from the permit as it does not
h depict anything of interest on-the-ground.
9. Please update Exhibit 30, Exhibit 44 and Exhibit 10 (Vol . VIII)
with current CDPS permits.
10. Exhibit 14 - Hydrologic Monitoring Program seems extremely
complicated and confusing due to text descriptions which
contradict tables, table footnotes, and numerous tables in
various formats. Due to past monitoring problems and
confusion, the Division is requesting that TCC re-organize this
information so it is presented clearly and concisely.
11 . Please update Exhibit 34 to reflect the planned outline for the
semi-annual subsidence report.
-16-
