Mr. Michael W. fAacGuire

-2- July 8, 1983
I suggest that you begin to correct my problems with this permit as soon
as possible in order to minimize the potential adverse consequences of
any possible violations. If the affected land of the permit has expanded
beyond 10 acres, or production has increased beyond 70,000 tons/year,
this permit should be converted to a regular, 112 permit. I have
included a copy of our 112 permit application form for your use in this
regard. If the permit has expanded but still falls within the
limitations of a limited impact permit, an amendment to the existing 110
permit will be required, and I have also enclosed a copy of our current
110 application form. You should consult our Rules and Regulations
concerning the methods for submitting these applications. If you do not
currently have a copy of these Rules and Regulations for mineral mining,
please send a cneck for ~2.U0 to our Division with an accompanying
request for them.
I will be available to answer any questions you may nave in this matter.
Please feel free to call me or my supervisor, Joseph Zalkind. We will
expect to hear from you in the very near future.
Sincerely,
G~ ~ /
Mark 5.
