.. ~- ZMLR 14 December, ~81 <br />• <br />Item 3--In accordance with ^1LR staff recommendations, topsoil will <br />be replaced over affected lands at depths of 12 to 18 inches and <br />over 2:1 slopes at depths of 18 to 24 inches. Phase area 5 is <br />omitted from the plan, however, any topsoil stockpiled and to remain <br />undisturbed for more than one grocaing season will be stabilized with <br />dry land grass mixtures as recommended by the soil conservation. <br />Item 4--As noted above, the road is owned by Tor. Blue and caill he <br />improved for use as an access road to the project. <br />Item 5-- On ly 3 cottonwood trees exist within the project boundary. <br />They are approximately 8" to 10" and will be refnoved in the mining <br />process. <br />Item 6-- Division of t;]ildlife Report enclosed. By t'~e nature of the <br />business, mining operations are historically reduced in the winter <br />due to reduced market. <br />Item 7--Enclosed is a letter from the Soil Conservation recommending <br />seed mixtures. <br />Item B--An ap.,reement with the owners of the BasinDitch is heing <br />acquired and will be forwarded to you when available. <br />Item 9--Settling, ponds will be filled and the plant area trill be <br />tilled to reduce compaction.
