Richard L Henry
Chie(Hydrogeologist
the remediation approach of choice at numerous Air Force site
closures across the U.S.
Lowry Landfill NPS Site, east of Denver, CO: Principal
hydrogeologist, performed a hydrogeologic evaluation to
support remedial design remedial action (RD/RAE) using
Visual MODFLOW to evaluate the performance of a barrier
wall/groundwater collection system installed at the Lowery
Landfill.
Ciba-Geigy's Toms River Plant, NJ: Project hydrogeologist,
responsible for the development of a literature survey and
technology demonstration of natural attenuation of chlorinated
hydrocarbons. Provided a field sampling and analysis protocol
to support the intrinsic remediation evaluation.
Coal-Fired Power Plant Fly Ash Landfill, Jefferson County,
CO: Senior project manager, performed site hydrogeologic
characterization, baseline surface water and groundwater
quality, fly ash and leachate chemistry, and performance
modeling of liner and cover designs to support a Certificate of
Designation for acoal-fired power plant fly ash landfill in an
active shale mine. Performance modeling was conducted using
the VLEACH, FOWL, MYGRT, and HELP models.
Proposed Limestone Mine Expansion, CO: Senior
hydrogeologist, developed 2-D and 3-D models of the
subsurface hydrogeology and open-pit configuration to support
an environmental impacts analysis using AutoCad and DCA
Engineering software, and MODFLOW/MT3D.
International Terminal Building, Honolulu, HI: Senior
hydrogeologist, designed and evaluated dewatering options in a
fractured, pseudokarst aquifer contaminated with jet fuel at the
proposed terminal building using MODFLOW/MT3D. Site-
specific aquifer data were collected, interpreted, and used in the
model.
ASARCO Silver Bell Solution Exchange-Electrowinning
(SX-EVE Project, Pima County, AZ: Senior hydrogeologist,
analyzed site water balance and seepage of the proposed in-pit
rubbilization and copper leaching operation at the SX-EW
project in support of an Aquifer Protection Permit. Evaluated
Best Available Demonstrated Control Technologies (BADCT)
to minimize groundwater quality impacts.
l'Z1^~
