Woody plants <br />will not be planted in the revegetated area, with the exception of those in the North pit reclamation plan. <br />Woody plant species will not be re-established outside of the North Pit azea. Woody plant species to be <br />established on the North Pit reclamation may include: pinyon pine, Utah juniper, servicebeny, Gambie's oak, <br />true mountain mahogany, Fremont barberry, Oregon grape, black chokecherry, skunkbrush sumac, antelope <br />bitterbmsh, big sagebrush and rabbitbnish. <br />Mulch <br />Mulching will consist of crimping hay or straw into the soil at the same time seeding takes place. Mulch will <br />be used at the rate of 2.0 tons per acre. Slopes greater than 3h to lv will be netted or hydromulched with <br />tackifier to control erosion. Straw crimping with standard farming equipment will occur on flat areas. <br />Reclamation costs aze estimated to be $300,824.00. <br />Water Rights and Usage <br />The proposed reclamation activities will not require any water rights. <br />
