Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
On March 30, 2004, the Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) received your letter
addressed to Ron Cattany concerning the reclamation plan for the Beltway Paving Company Pit
No. 1. Enclosed is a copy of the current reclamation plan for the site and the application page
denoting the types of post mined land use for the site.
The current, approved reclamation plan for this site is for a mix of industrial and residential
development including a 6-acre groundwater Take. The overall intended use for the site appears
to comply with the information you provided, with the exception, perhaps, of the groundwater
lake. If the lake is not to be included in the final reclaimed site, this information would need to
be amended in the reclamation plan.
Hopefully this information answers the questions you have pertaining to the site. If you have
any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at (303) 866-4935.
Sincerely,
Kate Pickford
Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: Ron Cattany, Bruce Humphries, Carl Mount; DMG
Office of
AAinarl I and Rxlamatinn
Office of
•.ii.•n a..el I.. p I.A:~x
Colorado
