The problem was not the .
road itself but your failure to hold the water after it left the road.
Again we point out that the water must be held in ponds, put into
near level ditches to back out or thence into ponds. harrow the road,
lesson the slopes on each side, leave slopes rough!
Beginning at the BA's oil tank we insist that the road be restored
to useable road as follows:
1. .lYaveled portion of road to be 30' wide with no berm on any
part of the road.
2. Steep slopes to be eliminated to conform with the same slope
as was forced upon mr at the Btu oil tank area.
3. Removal of all water bars by first removing all dirt then
filling with gravel and finishing road as it was before. No rocks to
tear up equipment but finishing with fine gravel.
4. Road must be crowned in center except on curves which must be
tilted to the inside as in common on all county and state roads.
5. Road is to be converted to tonform to uses for auto, truck
and heavy equipment traffic as it was before. It must also be com-
pleted in a workmanship Iike manner to obtain maximum grazing from the
slopes on each side. See attached profile.
-3-
