Site SGF742, a pictograph, is recommended as being eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic PZaces, while 6GF743, an old homestead, is not. The homestead is adjacent to the haul road for the mine, with the pictograph further removed from the road on the canyon wall. Neither site will be disturbed by the proposed operation. Because of this, and since SGF742 is not actually listed on the National Register of Historic Places, a mitigation plan is not required (see Rule 7.05,6(4)). The applicant has satisfactorily sampled areas that may be impacted at a future data. Pursuant to Rule 2.07.6(2)(e), the Division finds the applicant will not adversely affect any publicly owned park or place Zisted on the National Register of Hi StOIiC Places. The operation is in compliance with the requirements of this section_ ITJ. Geology - Rv1es 2.04.5 and 2.04.6(2) The applicant has supplied a description of the geology of the permit and adjacent areas in Sections 4.2 ,and 4.3 of volume I of uhe application. These sections have been reviewed by the Division to determine confornance with the Colorado Rules and Revelations. The geochemical analysis of the Upper Carbonera roof and floor strata (Table 4.2-1) does not contain all of toe parameters required by the Division. Since waste material from these rock strata will be deposited in the waste rock site, an analysis of the remaining parameters must be completed and submitted prior to dricinq the rock slopes to the Upper Carbonera seam. T.Sese rock slopes will not be dr_'ven and mining will not commence until 1983 (see Ficure 7.1-~, volume i I).
