• <br />B. Diversions and Conveyance of Overland Flow <br />1 . Disturbed area drainage is controlled and contained by numerous designed <br />containment ditches. Design details are located in the approved permit <br />application at Section 4.05.3. <br />C. Stream Channel Diversions <br />1. The Bear Coal Company does not propose permanent or temporary <br />diversion of stream channels. Some flood control work was previously <br />approved and performed along the North Fork of the Gunnison River. <br />Details are provided within the approved permit document at <br />Section 4.05.4. <br />D. Sedimentation Ponds <br />1 . All site sediment ponds are designed and constructed in accordance with <br />Rule 4.05.6. Design details are contained within the approved permit <br />document at Section 4.05.6 and Exhibit 11. <br />E. Acid-forming and Toxic-forming Spoil <br />• 1. Acid-forming andlor toxic-forming materials have not been identified at the <br />Bear Coal Company Mine Nos. 1, 2, and 3. <br />F. Impoundments <br />1 . All site impoundments are in compliance with Rule 4.05.9. Refer to <br />Section III, D, above. <br />G. Surface and Ground Water Monitoring <br />1 . The applicant will conduct monitoring of ground water in a manner <br />approved by the Division (4.05.13(1)). Details can be found in <br />Section 4.05.13 of the permit application. <br />2. The applicant will conduct monitoring of surface water in a manner <br />approved by the Division.
