File No. M-94-117
Dear Mr. Sorenson:
Thank you for keeping the County informed on this issue of the Gold Hill Mill. Mazk was promoted to
Site Plan Review Planner and 1 will be taking over this issue.
My first question would tie what is the use of the property once the mining is stopped. There are many
uses that would allow a building like the mill building to be used on the parcel. For example if the site
is a legal building lot then the mill building could he converted to a residence or become accessory [o a
residence on the parcel. 1 have enclosed a copy of the Forestry zoning section of the Boulder County
Land Use Code.
It might be quicker is once they propose a use, give me a call and I can response or have them talk with
me directly for the use that would allow the mill building.
At this time I don't feel the need to require the structure to be demolished.
Sincerely,
Land Use Department
Admmistrdtive Services Building
2040 14th Streel • 14th & Spruce Streets • Boultler, Colorado 80302 • (303) 441-3930
Paul B.
