<br /> <br />(k) The licensee shall scarify and reseed any disturbed areas. Access roads shall <br />be ripped to a depth of 6 to 8 inches with an agricultural chisel plow or subsoiler. <br />Topsoil shall be spread back onto drill sites and disked or ripped along the natural <br />contour. Seed shall be drilled on the contour at a depth no greater than 1/2 inch. <br />Fall seeding must be completed after September but prior to prolonged ground frost. <br />Seed rates of pounds pure live seed per acre for drilling shall be: <br />Species Lbs/Acre PLS <br />Western Wheatgrass (Arriba) 3.0 <br />Pubescent Wheatgrass (Luna) 2.0 <br />Russian Wildrye (Vinall) 2.0 <br />Crested Wheatgrass (Fairway) 2.0 <br />Four Wing Saltbush (Wytana/Rincon) 2.0 <br />Yellow Sweet Clover (Madrid) .5 <br />(1) All trees on location and proposed access routes shall be disposed of by cutting <br />all stems, stumps, and branches over 4 inches in diameter into 4 foot lengths and <br />scattering them away from [he disturbed areas. <br />(m) All drill holes shall be plugged with cement from at least 50 feet below to 50 <br />feet above all aquifers and underground minable coal beds, and a cement surface plug <br />shall be set. Item A illustrates the minimum requirements for plugging drill holes. <br />All drill holes shall be plugged as contemporaneously as possible with their drilling. <br />(n) All drill hole cementing shall be done with a recognized oil field cement <br />pre-mixed at the surface with water and any additives considered necessary for <br />encountered drill hole conditions. For all drill hole plugging operations, the licensee <br />shall submit to the District Manager completed Sundry Notices (Form 3160-5) together <br />with copies of all cement invoices in addition to reports required by Sec. 14(p) below. <br />(o) The licensee shall notify both the District Manager and the Area Manager upon <br />completion of exploration operations. <br />(p) One copy of drill hole data and related reports must be submitted to the <br />District Manager within 30 days after the calendar year. The requirements for <br />submission of drilling and abandonment information are given to the licensee herewith as <br />Item B. The licensee's location map must show access trail locations and exact hole <br />locations appropriately identified by number or letter.
