The nature of the violation was: <br />"Failure to include a description and detailed design for each existing structure, for <br />which there are specific design criteria or performance standards, proposed to be <br />used in connection with or to facilitate the surface coal mining and reclamation <br />operations." <br />The violations existed at the Moffat pond inlet, the Goat Trail road ditches, the berms and the <br />southwest culvert on the explosives magazine pad, the culvert on the west side of the shop area <br />fuel pumps, and the outlet ditch at culvert E12. <br />The operator was fined $500.00. <br />The violations were abated and the notice terminated after the operator submitted designs for <br />each of the structures (Technical Revisions 23 and 25). <br />Notice of Violation C-93-027 <br />Issued April 5, 1993. <br />The nature of the violation was: <br />"Failure to construct and maintain runoff and sediment control measures and <br />culverts as required by the approved permit application package:' <br />The violations existed since culvert E12 was blocked, and the required straw bale filters on the <br />Goat Trail access road were not in place. <br />The operator was fined $750.00. <br />The violations were abated and the notice terminated after the culvert was cleared, and the bales <br />were installed. <br />F_dna Mine (C$1?401) May I8, 1994 <br />Midlcnn Rcview 3 ThiA Pcrtnil Tcrm <br />
