t 2.9 Vegetative Debris
' Vegetative debris will be randomly scattered over the ROW and temporary use areas
after cleanup and seeding is done. Woody debris will not be chipped prior to
' redistribution on the ROW. Woody debris spread on the ROW will be "walked down"
with a rubber fire tractor. Trees and other vegetation will not be permanently
windrowed along the edge of the ROW.
' 2.10 Fencing
' All damaged livestock fences will be repaired to the landowner's satisfaction. All
existing improvements, including fences and gates, will be maintained and repaired to
at least pre-construction condition.
' Where construction has damaged or removed a natural barrier used for livestock
control, a fence will be constructed in its place. The fence will be constructed to BLM or
other landowner specifications, asapplicable.
' 2.11 Above-ground Facilities
' Following construction, all above-ground facilities (e.g., structures, appurtenances, or
pipeline) will be painted to blend with the natural surroundings. A reflective material
may be used to reduce hazards that may occur when structures are near roads.
' Otherwise, anon-glare, non-reflective, non-chalking paint will be used. Basic color
selections and applicable uses will be coordinated with the BLM or other landowners.
' 2.12 Cleanup
Following completion of reclamation, all trash and other solid wastes will be removed
' from the ROW, temporary use areas, and laydown areas. All material will be disposed
of in an appropriate manner in existing authorized sanitary landfills. No solid waste
will be buried along the ROW. After final cleanup, the area will be inspected by the
' BLM or other landowner to verify that preconstruction commitments for the ROW and
ancillary facilities are satisfied.
' 3.0 RECLAMATION SCHEDULE
Revegetation activities will be determined in part by construction schedules and
' seasonal climatic conditions. Seeding and planting will be coordinated with other
reclamation activities to occur as soon after seedbed preparation as possible. The goal
will be to complete reclamation in the fall immediately after construction is completed.
' If construction continues throughout the fall and reclamation cannot be completed, it
will be completed either the following spring or fall based on BLM or other landowner
agreements. These guidelines may be revised based on seasonal climatic conditions,
' access, on-site conditions, and concurrence by the BLM or other landowners
1
Pipelirc Nedamanon Plan
Yankee Gulrh Sad~um Atircra6 Prol<ct
' American Soda.
