Walker visited Gary, John and John Slovek, Sr. <br />They explained their grievances with Weld County and with MLR. <br />42. April 18, 1983, L. Walker spoke with Larry Lany, with the Water <br />Resources Board. He was familiar with the issue and did not feel that <br />Weld County was responsible for erosion damage to Slovek's land. <br />43.' Aril 18 1983, L. Walker inspected the Weld County pit. <br />Recommendations inc uded widening of the berm on the river, since it had <br />eroded to less than 100' in width. <br />44. April 26, 1983, L. Walker did a follow-up inspection of the pit. <br />The 100' buffer be nn had been repaired and widened, as instructed. <br />45. April 28, 1983, J. Slovek wrote to L. Walker, h1LR, reiterating <br />problems with Weld County. <br />46. May 2, 1983, L. Walker memo to file concernig April 28, 1983 letter. <br />47. May 23, 1983, L. Walker inspected pit in response to a request from <br />Gary Slovek. No new problems were noted. <br />48. June 1, 1983, Gary Slovek called and spoke to L. Walker.
