30. February 24, 1981, Letter from John Slovek sent to Governor Lamm,
stating that MLRB illega]ly granted a permit to Weld County.
31. April 15, 1981, Governor Lamm wrote to Slovek, saying that the
Board and Division acted responsibly and thoroughly.
32. April 19, 1981, Slovek wrote to 6ledsoe, State Representative,
askiny for suggestions and information on the Leyal Services Committees,
`saying MLR granted a permit on an illegal operation.
33. April 24, 1981, Reply from Bledsoe to Slovek, advising that Slovek
contac~~o~ice. Legal Services probably doesn't handle this. He'll
forward the letter to State Auditor for their check.
34. May 13, 1981, from Weld County to INLR, giving status update.
35. May 14, 1981, From J. Slovek to MacFarlane, AG with State.
3b. May 22, 1981, from D. C. Shelton to Bledsoe. Reply on Slovek's
complaints.
37. f~1ay 21, 1981, from Lu Woods, assistant AG, to J. Slovek. Lu
suggested he file with District Court.
38. June 4, 1981, Brad Janes inspected the pit. He had several
recommendations.
39. July 15, 1982, Brad was subpoenaed in Weld County District Court;
Slovek, et. al., vs. Weld County.
40. A~ri1 11, 198311, 1983, Gary Slovek called and spoke to Linda Walker. He
said the 100' buffer between Weld County's pit and the St. Vrain was
eroding and that his land was. being eroded.
