ASPHALT
SPECIALTIES CO.
10100 Dallas St.
Henderson, CO 80640
(303) 289-8555 Fax: (303) 289-7707
June 12, 2004
Ms. Aneda Marquez
P.O. Box 65
Henderson, Colorado 80640
FiECEIVE®
JUN 152004
Oiuision of Minerals and Geology
RE: Copy of "Structure Agreement" for Division of Minerals and Geology
Deaz Aneda:
Per your request, enclosed is a copy of the referenced structure agreement you signed for
me on June 9, 2004. Because Asphalt Specialties will only be mining somewhat close to
the north side of the buildings that make up the auto repair shop, there was no reason to
have to get Antonio Wong's signature on the document. What will occur in about two
yeazs, is that we will be mining the remainder of the property down at the gravel plant
site and then up on the "bench" where the old farmhouse is and also the scalehouse. We
will backfill the slopes into the pit and then the excavated pit will become awater-storage
reservoir. It appears at this time, all of your property looks like it will be surrounded by a
lake! Actually, it had ought to be real nice.
Hope the re-zoning of the auto shop property goes well for you, and please contact me if
there is anything else you need from us.
Sincerely,
Rob Laird
Land Manager
cc: file
Craig Tessmer, Adams County
