The Division fords, however, <br />that operations and reclamation activities comply with the requirements of Rules 2.06.8(3)(c), <br />2.06.8(4), 2.06.8(5), and 2.07.6(2)(k). For additional specific findings concerning these alluvial <br />valley floors, please see Section B, Item XVII of this document. <br />I. Land Use. The Division approved the post-mining land use of the operation as rangeland- It <br />was determined that range and wildlife use meets the requirements of Rule 4.16 for the permit <br />azea [in compliance with Rule 2.07.6(2)(1)]. <br />J. Specific Approvals. Specific approvals required under Rule 4 have been granted. These <br />approvals aze addressed in Section B of this document [in compliance with Rule 207.6(2)(m)]. <br />K. Endangered or Threatened Species. The Division fords that the activities proposed by the <br />Applicant would not affect the continued existence of endangered or threatened species or result <br />in the destmction or adverse modification of their critical habitats [in compliance with <br />Rule 2.07.6(2)(n)]. Roads -Rule 4.03 <br />The Pemut is found to be in compliance with the requirements of Rule 4.03. Information on <br />roads is presented otrpages.2.05-2o-through 2.o-5-2I, Section 4.43, anel Map-25 of ilie Permit~ <br />Threetypes ofroads are described in the Permit: haul roads, an access road that has been <br />redesignated as a haul road, and light-use roads. <br />A. Haul Roads =Rule 4.03.1..The main haul road (Haul Road A}; which Hors approximately-four <br />miles from the active pit area to the secondary cnrsher at the foadout, has been paved with asphalt <br />(Permit, page 4.03-I ): Haul Road B was' once designated as the Access Road (Permit, page 4.03- <br />1). This Haul Road B is an asphalt paved road from State Highway 13 to the main haul road. A <br />Mine administrative office building is located along this Haul Road B. Both haul roads meet all <br />design and construction requirements of the haul road regulations. The reclamation plan calls for <br />the removat of the pavement, reduction of the road width to 12 feet, reduction of side slopes to <br />4:1 and revegetation of the sideslopes for Haul Road B [Permit, page 2.05-61; Rule <br />4.03.1(1)(f)(ii)].
