Several issues <br />were resolved regarding our bond estimate and the remaining qurations should he resolved [airly <br />quickly since we've agreed on the methodology for doing so. <br />]n order to avoid any future misunderstanding on either of our parts, the following summary of <br />agreemeala, based oa our notes, is submitted fcrr your concurrence. Should you disagt~ee with any of <br />these items, please Ict us know in writing. <br />Backfilline and Rou rad'nr; <br />1&2. D11N Dounc vs. D10N Dozers, Triple Shifts vs. Douhle Shits: COMLR stated that <br />extensive research had gone info the douhle shift grading constraint. Surveys conducted <br />indicated that contractors are not likely to ttse D11N's or triple shi[ta oa jobs of•this <br />nature. Trapper and COMLR agreed to supplement the survey by contacting <br />additional conlraclonc regarding these issues in consideration of the projected size of <br />the job. We will then regroup with this new information and decide what is avpropriate. <br />Contractors we agreed to contact included Industrial Constructors (ICC), Granite <br />Construction, Morrison-Knudsen, Green Construction, Tarko and Ames. <br />3. Material Swell: COMLR and Trapper agree that no adjustment is necessary for the <br />swell oCspoiled material. <br />4,4c5. Shooting and Ripping Fioal Highwalls: COMLR and Trapper agree that the shooting <br />and ripping oC highwalls is oat necessary due to the blasting buffer associated with our <br />operations. <br />6. Job Condition Factor: COMLR and Trapper agree on the tollowiag factors for pit <br />backfilling and rough grading: <br />Operator 0-~) <br />Mat Consistency 1.00 <br />Dozing Method 1.17' <br />Transmission Type 1.00 <br />Grade Adjustment 1.20 <br />Altitude Adjustment 1.00 , <br />Material Weight 0.98 <br />Blade Type 1.00 <br />Twcr factors remain unresolved.
