-5- <br />• <br />A report identifying the crushing days of operation and identifying nll days on <br />which the detonation of blasting materials within 200' of ground surface is included <br />in this annual report. <br />Also included is a progress report on the reclamation identifying areas being re- <br />claimed, the areas in which reclamation is complete and the sucess and failue of <br />these efforts. Also included in this annual report is a report on the seismic mon- <br />itoring of the operation. <br />Also included with this report is a summary of transportation activities on how <br />material was transported off the site. We would request that this information remain <br />confidential and precluded from disclosure until the mining operatinn is terminated. <br />Hydrology: We are not aware of any adverse impacts of the operation on the hydrologic <br />cycle. There is no significant erosion problem and any sedimentation collected <br />has been reused in topsoil applications to sustain new plant life. <br />It is our opinion that the operation is sensitive to this cycle and has improved <br />vegetation. <br />Any complaints directed specifically to Asphalt Paving Co. have been dealt with <br />properly and in a timely manner so as to eliminate any potential problems that may <br />arise. This Company recognizes its reponsibility to constantly be aware of any <br />and all suggested methods for improvements and pledges its continne,l Kest effort <br />for a professional operation.
