(Remcor) is pleased to present this proposal to CFBI <br />Steel Corporation (CFiI) for evaluating potential remediation re- <br />quirements at the Roebling Steel site in Roebling, New Jersey and <br />the Roblin sites (Roblin Plant, River Road, and.Cherry Farm) in <br />Tonawanda, New York. The objectives of this evaluation .are the <br />following: <br />., A ccmprehensive understanding of the available data and <br />site conditions. <br />~. Deve'_opment of a remedial plan for each site. This plan is <br />to include realistic activities already proposed by regula- <br />tory agencies and Remcor's conceptual approaches. <br />• An apportionment analysis for each site. <br />WORR PLAN <br />Remcor's site evaluation and liability apportionment activities• <br />will consist of the following: <br />• Task 1 - A detailed review of the data available for the <br />Rcebiing Steel site, the River Road site, and the Roblin <br />Plant. Aemcor has been working with CF6I on the Cherry <br />Farm site since early in 1990 and has reviewed the January <br />1990 surface soil analysis results for the slag disposal <br />;: and park area at the Roebling Steel site. <br />
