The applicant will donate 50,000 cubic
yards of this excess material to Adams County in order that the County may
complete reclamation of the County owned landfill just to the northwest of the
subject property. The County will need to supply their trucks and coordinate the
timing with the applicant. The applicant will load the County vehicles. The
reclamation plan is more fully described in Attachment "A".
5.6 Floodplain Compliance Permit
Prior to making this application, the applicant has applied for a floodplain permit
pertaining to Parcels A-1 and A-2 and this application is tied to the existing mine.
This issue was discussed with county staff at the pre-application meeting and it
was the consensus of those in attendance that combining both the existing
permitted area and the subject property into one consolidated floodplain permit
was the most reasonable approach. Therefore, we have submitted revisions to
the floodplain permit application to incorporate the subject properties.
5.7 Other Permits
The following permits are in the process of being amended and/or obtained:
(a) Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology Permit M77-438
(b) Adams County Floodplain Permit
(c) State Engineer Substitute Supply Plan
(d) State Health Air Permits
(e) Water Discharge Permit
The following permit is in place and does not require amendment:
(a) Access Permit
Brighton Mine Conditional Use Permit 7
' CAMAS Colorado, INC.
20007WD
May 2000
