blr. P.E. Thomsen -Z- May 2, 1983
B. Permit 77-346, Goodwin Gypsum Quarry
1. The Board voted that this operation does not, as of this date,
fall under the•te~nporary cessation criteria because of Ideal's
reclamation activities to the seven reclaimable acres.
Therefore, the commencement date for the 180 day non-production
period is the date the seven acres were seeded. If Ideal has
not resumed production of this quarry at the end of this 180 day
period, then a notice regading temporary cessation will need to
be filed.
Permit X77-347, Slab Canyon Limestone Quarry
1. Therefore, as of April 1, 1933 (i.e., 180
days after October 1, 1982, the day production temporarily
ceased at this site), this permit operation is in temporary
cessation. The Board also voted to increase Ideal's bond for
this permit from $21,50U.OU to $34,560.00. Please sign,
notorize, and return the financial and performance warranties
sent to you under the Divisio~i's earlier referenced letter.
Permit ;;77-348, Boettcher Limestone Quarry
The Board voted that this operation does meet 'the criteria for
temporary cessation.
